Swift tweeted about the show, and criticized a line mentioning her name in an s*xist way by shaming her for her previous relationships for the sake of “making a joke.”
Swift stated that it suited for neither the show nor Netflix to degrade a woman in such a way.
After her tweet, the show’s ratings skyrocketed, even though it was not exactly Swift’s intention to make the series more popular in the first place.
After the Swift drama, it became certain that we will see more of Ginny & Georgia in the future.
However, despite the renewal of the show months ago, the production process is moving quite slowly. We know that as of this month, September 2021, the production of season 2 of the show finally starts.
The filming will take place in Toronto, Canada and once the filming wraps up, we will finally get to see Season 2 of Ginny & Georgia.

We expect the series’ 2nd season to be aired at some time between February 2022 and May 2022. The first season of Ginny & Georgia was filled with heavy topics from crime to racial issues and self-harm.
Thus, we expect a similar pattern for the Season 2 of the series as well. Especially when it comes to Georgia, we are hoping to learn more about her possible involvement in her ex-husband’s death, which will probably be the main plotline of the upcoming season.
For Ginny, we are expecting to see a lot of friendship drama with major character developments. Even though an official trailer for the series 2nd season is yet to be aired still, we can confidently confirm that the cast of the show will remain the same for the most part.
First and foremost, Brianne Howey as Georgia Miller and Antonia Gentry as Ginny Miller will be present in the 2nd season as the main characters.
